Rim trying to reinvent the wheel??

RIM, the makers of the ever so popular blackberry and the choice to most hustle and bustle business minds have took to viral to present a futuristic spin on how the world will benefit from their product in the years to come. Sure the video is contagious amongst the IP world, however with Microsoft's already public viral of the same entitiy released earlier in the week, it totes the question of originality on the part of RIM. However similar these videos are, at the very least they are amusing. Both videos show see through countertops, refrigerators, cell phones and holographic images. If this is what the future brings its a bit scary. We have relied for years on technology and with its increasing demand, the more it evolves. Although it is helpful it seems like to me the governments way of keeping tabs on us and controlling our lives. What's next, our spouses committing infidelity with a technological figment of a man?? Google looking to jump into cable tv market

Google is pondering the possiblities of taking on the likes of all major cable providers in the near future. The search engine giant is associated with everything from our computers, to cell phones, to tablets and now maybe to tv. Once they delve deep enough into the pool and learn the currents of the water they'll be breast stroking in a sea of water controlled by them. This is the perfect market for a company like them. This would be another way to barricade the corporate monopoly Apple is piggy backing. Let's face it. We've come to learn and love and more times then not rely on Google to give us the world on a rectangular screen so why not our living room big screens?? We'll see what this may bring but I am optimistic that even if it is not the superior service, it will probably result in better deals from your current provider in the midst of a bidding war.

Costco Wholesale cashing in on GM!!!

For those who don't know, Costco has offered preferred rates on all makes and models through its Auto Buying Program for years now. Recently they took one step further in partnering with GM to offer near employee discounts on GM vehicles. Now through January 3rd you'll also get a $500 cash card just for your purchase. Pardon my bias but that's a pretty good deal but working for the chain and knowing business, nothing is free. That $500 is worked into the price somewhere. If you really want to snag a great deal, try to negotiate $500 lower than their offering and then maybe it'll pay off. It it were I, I would even try $1,000 lower just in case they anticipate people doing this once the news breaks.

Texas Father Beats Autistic Daughter....graphic warning.

Did anyone see this video?? Texas judge beats then 16 year old autistic daughter for illegally downloading music on the internet. I don't know about you but in my house hold my father would have waited till I got up and downloaded some oldies but goodies for his collection. Sprint getting into the holiday spirit with release of new phone

Looks like mobile giant sprint is slated to release a few goodies to plump up your holiday stockings. Already the top dog since the release of the iPhone 4s Sprint is paying homage to the phone operating system that kept them afloat......Android.  News broke today that the now favored carrier will release the Sprint Transform Ultra for its contract carriers which features a slide out keyboard, Android OS, and packed with power. They seem to be in the Christmas spirit announcing that the price tag will be $79.99 for new customers and rumor has it they will have everything short of a glass of egg nog waiting on you when you arrive to pick it up. Looks like someone's in the Christmas Spirit.

Big Baby has a Growing frustration

Looks like Glen "Big Baby" Davis is taking to Twitter to voice how frustration with his committee and the CBA stating, "Take the 51% man and let's play!!!" This was surely a tantalizing site for NBA owners and staff.  However Davis isn't the only one with ill feelings toward the NBPA and their president Derek Fischer. He is joined by NBA vet Jerry Stackhouse who voiced his aggrevation to sources claiming that Ficher is mis handling the negotiations. Looks like there's trouble in the office. Somebody better come to a deal quickly before EVERYBODY is out of a job.

iPhone battery and iCloud issues will be solved with firmware update

Apple iPhone users have been plagued by the infamous battery issues since its release but with the latest release ios 5, those who ditches the lairs a la Android and dished out the extra chips for the iPhone 4s couldn't be more spellbound about the reason behind this issue. Feeling like you should've known better than to swap external for internal batteries?? Have no fear, Steve Jobs was not about to leave his empire and loyal "fanbase" without a solution to ANY problem that may show face??  News arose today that in about a week Apple will release ios 5.0.1, a firmware update to ios 5. This is slated to fix the battery issue and some iCloud issues as well. We'll wait and see. To the iPhone users all over the world.....GOOD LUCK......(charging my Android and blogging) LOL!!!!

Billups putting his money where his mouth is

New York knocks point guard Chauncey Billups is in the final year of a $60 million contract, which an estimated $14 million is due to him this season. However Chauncey is not backing down. He is willing to lose his payout for the betterment of the league and future players revenue in years to come. I am against the lockout but I have an immense amount of respect for what this man is doing and why he's doing it and for people who stand up for what they believe in. Chauncey tool to ESPN last night and discussed these matters with Stephen A Smith. Chauncey is the true epitome of what a point guard should be on and off the court. I mean look at the way he's orchestrating the CBA. He's breaking down the defense in efforts to pass to the open man. In the end they all win and as a team. Hats off, kudos, and glasses raised to more than a true point guard, player or champion, but to a true humanitarian.

Tips for staying "Fly." Men's budget style guide

We all want to be "Fly." We want to step out a clean whip smelling good and looking dapper but if you're like me the money isn't there. First we'll tackle hair. Buy a good outliner, preferably the Andis T outliner which should retail for $54.99 in most beauty shops. Now clippers. Nothing is more clean cut than a clean cut. We don't expect you to be a wizard when it comes to haircutting so why would you buy the most expensive clippers?? From my experiences its not so much the clippers but the person using it. Go for a low cut. It's easier to do and more manageable. Buy a pair of wahl clippers. I picked up a cheap kit from Costco for $19.99. Now you can achieve professional cuts and grooming at home. Next get some gear. You can never go wrong with button ups, slacks or dress pants and some nice shoes.....shoes not sneakers. Name brands are not a must when it comes to this but if you are a label guru then take yourself and your wallet and do you both a favor, go to Burlington coat factory. They have All the name brands for less. You can probably get a Perry Ellis peacoat, a button up, dress pants and some decent shoes all for around $130 or $140. Look for irregulars like coats missing a button and get someone to sew it back on for you. You can probably score 10% or more off. Fragrance?? That's a matter of choice but I like to combine fragrances. Something masculine but top it off with a lighter purer fragrance such as a perfume. I know you guys are reading this blog like he's crazy, but the best way to appeal to a lady is to find a common denominator. If u resemble their smell they will gravitate to you. Trust me. Poor Poor Bieber

After news broke on Wednesday that Justin Bieber is being pitted with the likes of an unkown Mariah Yeater and her 3 month old baby the web went crazy......literally. Allegations are that the two had relations after a show about a year ago in which resulted in her pregnancy. This didn't sit well with Bieber fans. A few taking to social media to voice their outrage and get this.....some even voiced public death threats to the accuser. Granted this situation is unfortunate if its not true or even if it is. Stars privacy is invaded and the media makes a spectacle of it. Granted I myself need information to keep blogs alive but I am not prejudice to any story, I state facts. Loyal or not the fans are showing support but not in a professional manner. Ladies, young girls, the man doesn't even know you so try sending in your tweets and emails of support to him and his family and stop with the hate mail. Maintain a level of dignity for Christ's sake. Bieber, welcome to being an average civilian in a media frenzy. Trials and tribulations are not biased nor prejudice. Stars are people in front of more expensive cameras than the ones we own but they are people non the less. Peace and blessings to you and your family.

Hey Maxwell, Where's Summers album??

Don't know how well this will translate to the post on this blog. Hope the link displays a media player if not it can be viewed on WWW.musze.com. Just in case you give a damn about real music such as I do I believe that one of the most artistic infiltrated minds in music past or present is R&B crooner Maxwell. He has a mystique about him. He appears on the scene and then shys away from the attention almost as does a bashful child with an incredible gift. Maxwell has transcended and transformed music through his artistic freedom. But where is the crooner and where is the Summers album. He took to Twitter and tweeted a pic of a speaker with a caption stating it was a listening session for Summers. If that's the case we can atleast be assured the album is complete. We'll just have to wait to see what comes of this in the coming months but to hold you over, some live viral. 23 Year Old Rockland Native mourned after news of suicide in local mall

Today Rockland County residents experienced a bone chilling tragedy. Reports surfaced that a 23 year old Spring Valley NY man took his own life at approximately 4am this morning, jumping from the fourth floor plunging to his demise. Civilian security cameras captured the footage. What everyone is trying to figure out is how the man got into the mall at that time or did he simply slip past security during closing time.  Once natives found out who it was, everybody took to social media to express their condolences. I will not disclose the name due to uncircumstantial evidence. However, to the man that lost his life may his soul rest in peace and may he find the refuge he most vigorously seeked in his forthcoming time of solitude. And to everyone reading this post, life is precious and should be cherished. If ever you feel as if your troubles are insurmountable, speak to someone, write down your experiences, and cherish what you do have......the moment..........

Setting achievable goals to attain a fulfilling life

A goal is a dream or an accomplishment validated upon achieving. Most of us set goals but are way too hard to accomplish. That's because we set dreams and not goals. Set an attainable goal.  Without doing that you will be frustrated with the nostalgia of what a goal has become known as. I myself now set more attainable goals such as the pic posted below. My goal is something that has to be done anyway such as paying my rent. Since it has to be done and I set a goal it takes the burden away from the task. Try this and once you do it once or twice tackle something else. By doing this you are building self confidence and positive moral and can also alieviate some of the hustle and bustle of the life you live in order to take care of your responsibilities. I am no doctor I'm just a realest and hey... We all need to see something go right to look forward to the bigger picture.

Wale's Ambition. Classic or not??

Ever since Wale signed with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group imprint accusations that Wale had "sold out" surfaced. Me being a music junky and not too shabby behind the Mic myself I have a respect for the craft far beyond the biased trend based ears of today. However when speaking with my manager he did point out a few key points. First the tattoos Wale recently added to his collection. Second how uncomfortable he looks in the graces of MMG members. All that aside I firmly believe Wale has a firm grip on who he wants to be as an artist. He showed just that on Ambition, his latest release which dropped yesterday 11/1/11. However what keeps this album from being a classic is imagery tracks like tatts on my arm.  Don't get it twisted that track is crazy, the beat is amazing but its just not Wale. In terms of the album as a whole I would say its a classic barring the Wale prejudices but if you're searching for a "Wale" the DC savior album then dig out attention deficit. This album is the I finally made it album. In other terms its like Commons Like Water For Chocolate compared to Be or Finding Forever. You be the judge, this is my critique but overall it is an album worth the money and a classic depending on what you expect Wale to be

Big Sean Ft. Nicki Minaj "A$$"(Dance). Wow Nicki!!!!

Big Sean has undeniably been a talent to be reckoned with since he burst on the scene. After riding back seat in the G.O.O.D Music Myabach for a while, Big Sean got to Take the wheel this year after the release of his Finally Famous Album. The album was a runaway success and spawned hits such as My Last with Chris brown, Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay with label head Kanye west (who commanded the track) and roscoe dash (new goto guy for a hook), and recently A$$. The songs MC Hammer derivative track is a roll call for ever girl in the club with a sink to come shake what they momma gave em!!! When Sean called up the likes of Nicki Minaj for the songs remix it was a plush fit which caused the songs popularity to climax. Today Sean blessed us with the video to A$$ (Dance) remix and Nicki Blessed us with......well.... A whole lotta Ass Ass Ass Ass Ass!!!! NBA LOCKOUT

Am I the only one who thinks the players and owners are being extremely selfish?? I mean come on guys. Where's the "LOVE OF THE GAME" now?? I am a avid player of sports games such as NBA 2K12 and I can't even update my fosters right now because theirs no live updates. What does that mean to you?? Probably nothing if your not a fan of the sport but look how its affecting more venues than the arena. Take clothing stores or sports apparel stores who sell their officially licensed gear. The kids who play everyday hoping to make it to the big time. Now what do they have?? A small cubical referenced well by life as greed and feelings of self well being tarnish a brand, a sport, and a million more dreams. Food for thought.
